These were a challenge for my husband and I! His challenge was getting the hole drilled in the block without breaking it! His patience was definitely being tested when my son arrived with a "good" diamond bit and saved the day!!
Most decorative glass blocks that I've seen were clear, not solidly covered with paint. I didn't like the looks of the wires from the lights showing through when the block wasn't lit up so I sponged a layer of paint on the blocks. I like the results!
Do you have anymore of these snowmen or are you planning on making more? I LOVE LOVE LOVE them & wanted to get one last year but didn't. Let me know!
